It seemed like only yesterday we were celebrating the 65th birthday of the Man for all seasonings, Mr. Spyros Peter Goudas.
It is now two years later. March 29, 2009 fell on a Sunday.
As usual, he was at work.
It was an unusually cold spring morning.
Two Canada Geese, (probably Limping John and a friend), stopped by to say Happy Birthday.
Koukla, ever present, kept very close.
We need not mention all the phone calls, the SKYPE calls, the people dropping by, etc.
The skeleton staff wished him well and at 5:00 p.m. The celebration began with a select group of friends at the workplace.
On Monday, the regular week began with employees wishing him Happy Birthday individually.
Another celebration took place at the weekly Sales Meeting.
So here we go again, Happy Birthday Spyros Peter Goudas.
May the Lord, God continue to bless you and keep you well.
